Intravision Group

As a leading Norwegian-based company, Intravision Group is dedicated to developing cutting-edge technologies and techniques for the production of food plants and pharmaceuticals. With a unique blend of photobiological research and space-inspired innovations, Intravision stands out in the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry.

Empowering Employees and Fostering Innovation

At Intravision, we believe in creating a workplace where every voice matters, and innovation flourishes through collaboration. Our culture is open and inclusive, with a focus on collective success rather than hierarchical leadership. We thrive as a small, agile organization, building ambitious projects in the ever-evolving Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) arena.

Rather than a top-down approach, our leadership fosters an environment where employees are empowered to share ideas, contribute freely, and take initiative. This dynamic atmosphere allows us to adapt organically to new challenges and opportunities as they arise.

We recognize that the best solutions come from teamwork and diverse perspectives. Collaboration across departments ensures that all voices are heard and valued, and that the unique strengths of each team member can contribute to the company’s growth. We don’t rely on rigid training programs; instead, we embrace learning through hands-on experience, creativity, and mutual support.

At Intravision, our team members are active participants in shaping our future, and we take pride in our ability to evolve together. Our shared passion for innovation and sustainability drives us forward as we contribute to the global movement in vertical farming.

Balancing Innovation and Stability

Intravision balances the need for innovation and growth with the need to maintain a stable and secure work environment. The company’s holistic approach integrates the latest scientific findings with solid operational strategies, ensuring that innovations contribute to both growth and stability. This approach allows Intravision to pursue innovation confidently while ensuring a secure and stable work environment for its employees.

Staying Ahead of Industry Trends

Intravision stays ahead of industry trends through continuous research and collaboration with global scientific institutions. The company’s access to cutting-edge research, particularly in space-inspired technologies, gives it a unique advantage in optimizing plant production systems. With projects in multiple regions, Intravision is well-positioned to address diverse agricultural challenges and anticipate industry shifts.

Creating a Positive Work Environment

Intravision is the best place to work because of its commitment to fostering a positive and innovative work environment. The company prioritizes the well-being and professional growth of its team by offering opportunities for development, access to advanced research, and the chance to work on groundbreaking technologies. This positive work environment, coupled with its mission-driven approach, ensures that employees are engaged, satisfied, and motivated to drive the company’s success.

Adapting to Change

Intravision has always approached change as an opportunity for growth and innovation. The company’s resilience is rooted in its strong relationships with research institutions and its commitment to continuous improvement. When faced with disruptions, whether economic or environmental, Intravision leverages its advanced technologies and adaptability to maintain continuity and meet the needs of its clients.

Sustainability at the Core

Sustainability is central to Intravision’s strategy. The company’s mission is to innovate food production in a way that is both environmentally friendly and economically viable. Initiatives such as closed-loop water recycling, renewable energy integration, and eco-friendly agricultural practices are key components of its commitment to creating a more sustainable future for food production.

Addressing Evolving Needs

Intravision addresses evolving industry needs by staying at the forefront of research and development. The company’s partnership with CESRF, combined with insights from NASA’s space research, allows it to continuously refine its technologies to meet the changing demands of the CEA industry. By integrating advanced scientific findings into its solutions and maintaining a flexible, adaptive approach, Intravision ensures that it is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of its clients and the industry as a whole.

Per Aage Lysaa, Founder and CEO of Intravision Group

Per Aage Lysaa has been a pioneer in photobiology and controlled environment agriculture (CEA) for over two decades. Since founding Intravision in 1998, Per has led the company’s transformation from a consultancy into a global leader in CEA technology.

His collaboration with the Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility (CESRF) at the University of Guelph has been pivotal in shaping Intravision’s cutting-edge solutions. Under his leadership, Intravision has become a key player in the vertical farming industry, known for integrating advanced biological insights with technological precision to drive innovation and sustainability in food production.

We design, engineer, and manufacture growth systems that control the light intensity, light spectrum, air, moisture, temperature, and nutrition levels interacting with specific plants.
