The headhunting industry is predominantly run by reputed and foreign headhunting consulting brands that emphasize individual performance and sales. This approach neglects employees’ ideals and career development. The birth of Superb Consulting Inc. was in response to this lack in the dominant headhunting companies in the industry.

As a professional in the industry, Yeta Ting, the Chairman of Superb Consulting, found her ideals different from those of the culture, business strategy, and talent development of the company she worked with before. This realization compelled her to push boundaries and revolutionize the headhunting landscape. Her vision of establishing a headhunting company with an out-of-the-box culture led to the inception of Superb Consulting, a local influential headhunting firm.

Birth of Possibilities

The journey of Superb Consulting Inc. commenced in November 2018 at a tiny office in Taiwan. At the outset, the company lacked employees, and the situation worsened with the Covid-19 pandemic as lots of headcounts froze at that time. As the company’s chairman, Yeta Ting worked diligently with minimal assistance and higher work stress. Despite the work pressure, she refused to give up and navigated the company through the uncertainties of the pandemic until it finally eased.

Yeta voices – “My initial goals included becoming a Taiwanese headhunting brand with a global outlook, creating a work environment where employees can ‘work hard and play hard,’ and building a platform for young talent to grow freely.”

Soon after the pandemic, Superb Consulting was shifted to a bigger location near Taipei 101. This was a bold step as the company didn’t have that many employees. Now, the company has become an incubator for headhunting firms with increased employees, diverse job vacancies, and an increased customer base.

Superb Consulting focuses on financial and technological industries in particular. Recently, the company recruited an experienced professional manager in 2024 and founded Grand Harbor Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary. It develops new functional service areas in the FMCG, catering, and manufacturing sectors.

Yeta further adds, “We are looking for all kinds of cooperation and development possibilities. So that the company can develop sustainably and gradually become an internationalized headhunter group.”

Solving Recruitment Problems

Superb Consulting has an array of recruitment solutions that help companies hire the right people at the right time. The service line includes middle-to-senior level recruitment, large-scale hiring, dispatch services, and cross-regional executive search. It also provides HR consulting solutions, including assisting companies with HR strategy development, organizational planning, and comprehensive talent management solutions.

Addressing the Needs of Job-Seekers

“Our empathetic and responsible approach ensures candidates feel supported throughout the recruitment process,” shared Yeta. The company prioritizes building a systematic and secure talent pool for efficient candidate matching and maintenance of data confidentiality. Winning the Uphill Battle

Superb Consulting realizes the changes of digitalization and AI integration in the global market. Nowadays, there is a cross-regional change in the demand for talent. Taiwan has a stable demand for manpower and a mature market. Whereas the demand in China is decreasing as a result of the economic impact. Amidst the fluctuation in demand, Superb is constantly monitoring changes in the labor market and putting different manpower in different countries. Yeta has enrolled in the NTU-Fudan EMBA program to engage with different perspectives and transform her thinking and company management skills for better international integration.

Superb Consulting leverages the power of technology to systematize its online recruitment and strengthen cybersecurity. The company also adopts advanced analytic tools to evaluate market trends and integrate these insights into its HR solutions, providing forward-looking strategies for clients and candidates.

Breaking New Grounds

Yeta firmly believes that “two minds are better than one.” Rather than setting new work rules, she prefers asking her employees, “How would you want to do?” The mutual trust between her and her employees is the key to driving innovation. While embracing innovation, the company strives to help experienced headhunters establish their businesses. Superb Consulting believes in offering free space to headhunting consultants to exert expertise. They are skilled at managing time and solving problems effectively. However, it now relies on more diversified methods to better apprehend the candidates.

The firm believes that increased adoption of advanced digital technologies like AI cannot replace the need for professional headhunters. In the future, the industry is likely to emphasize technological integration, and Superb Consulting aims to develop elite headhunters while driving the company’s international expansion.

Yeta Ting shares her valuable advice for young and emerging entrepreneurs, encouraging them to stay positive and view challenges as learning opportunities. According to her, setting short-term goals and consistently reassessing progress help align actions with progress achievements.

She shares, “Through steady progress, you can ultimately succeed in that field.” Yeta motivates entrepreneurs to focus on excellence and find a sense of accomplishment, either through customer recognition, skill improvement, or salary growth.
