Tracing Back to Inception
The story of Coastline Maids started 12 years ago when co–owner Jay began cleaning a few condos in a North Myrtle Beach resort as a two–person operation. Over the course of a decade his operation expanded to taking over the cleaning for the entire resort with a staff of 15. In an effort towards continued growth, he partnered with Ray in the spring of 2023 together, sharing the same vision the company was rebranded as Coastline Maids, LLC and targeted homeowners, private condos, and business as part of their marketing campaign and growth strategy.

Challenges
Coastline Maids with its explosive growth has faced hiring challenges due to its strict background protocols and has also been challenged with higher weekend volume due to vacation rental demands. In response to the hiring and staffing issues the company created referral incentives offering current staff an opportunity to help with recruitment while earning more. To level the weekend demand, the company has shifted its marketing focus to include private residence cleanings to fill the weekday schedule to counterbalance the weekend demands.
Future Vision
Coastline Maids is headquartered in North Myrtle Beach, a bustling vacation community. The recent migration from northern states relocating to South Carolina has caused an explosion in population of the South Carolina coastal region. Coastline Maids expects to see an increased demand for vacation rental turns and a strong uptick in the residential cleaning demand. In the coming days, they are planning to put a strong emphasis on recruitment and retention to meet the growing needs of the community.
