Portman Partners was founded in 2018 by data center veteran Peter Hannaford. Mike joined the business, as Managing Director, in 2022, after almost 30 years of multi discipline industry experience as a service provider covering cabling, fit–out, mechanical and electrical, design and build and maintenance.
As a seasoned entrepreneur, founder and director, Mike had built, operated, and exited numerous data center services companies and has an established track record of structuring and building successful and cohesive teams globally.
Mike had been working closely with Peter to secure investment that would take the business to the next stage of its growth and meet the growing demands of an industry that is expanding exponentially worldwide. He decided to make the investment via his family investment firm, Meyer Mundell Limited, that completed the successful acquisition of the Portman in December 2023 to further its plans for the continued expansion of services to the data center and digital infrastructure industry globally.
