In today’s fast paced business world, the construction industry is undergoing a significant transformation, with several trends and opportunities driving growth and change. The increasing demand for infrastructure and sustainable construction has spurred the growth of prefabricated construction. Prefabricated construction offers significant time–savings, guaranteed schedules, no change orders and sustainability compared to traditional construction methods.
Among the leading companies in the construction industry, Fullerton Building Systems has championed prefabrication and is a trailblazer in delivering prefabricated building solutions in time and on budget.
Fullerton companies is a third–generation family–owned business that traces its roots in the lumber yard business, before emerging into both residential and commercial constructions, and ultimately focusing on commercial custom pre–fabrication. A wholly–owned subsidiary of Fullerton Companies, Fullerton Building Systems celebrates a legacy of over 60 years in the building materials and services industry. Under the visionary guidance of President Scott Pairolero, Fullerton is embracing new opportunities for growth and thriving towards success.

Fullerton Building Systems harnesses the power of technology to drive efficiency through in-house designs, value engineering and computerized wood saw.
Customizable Approach
Fullerton Building Systems takes pride on its very customized approach to design and process. “We are not a modular builder. We only build custom designed buildings,” explains Scott.
To deal with the challenges that typically disrupt flow and process, Fullerton creates two sets of designs for every building, both structural and production. By measuring both process points and flow, they ensure guaranteed delivery to clients. The panels are built in a climate–controlled environment, not encumbered by weather or other factors and are framed horizontally, using a framing table 3 feet off the floor, not with a crew on ladders framing vertically. This is a more efficient process that reduces safety risks as well as construction errors.
Fullerton does not outsource any of the panelised manufacturing or assembly process. They have their own staff site technicians on the ground who look after the entire process of installation. They even use the same crew on every building, to optimize best practices.
By leveraging technology and innovation, Fullerton is committed to design, engineer, deliver and assemble panelized building packages with factory applied finishes in record time.
Leveraging Technology for Sustainable Construction
Fullerton Building Systems harnesses the power of technology to drive efficiency through in-house designs, value engineering and computerized wood saw. The use of artificial intelligence is embedded into the company’s marketing campaigns.
Prioritizing sustainable construction, Fullerton leverages technology to deliver value to the environment. Their automated computerized saw cuts wood to the exact sizes, quantities and layouts. It maximizes the use of each piece of lumber along with reusing shorter cut pieces in other parts of the building, resulting in less wastage and supporting forest prevention.
Industry Setbacks
The difficult economic condition with a storm of inflation and costs of funding at 20–year highs has been a challenge for Fullerton Building Systems. And while interest rates seemed to have peaked, the uncertainty causes delays. Though Scott recognizes that this will normalize over time, he cannot deny that these macro–economic conditions will certainly be testing the will of customers through 2024.
Another challenge that the industry is currently facing is around schedules and timing. Clients lack confidence in being able to have their construction partners stay on existing schedules or accelerate the timing of completion. In the past 18 months, schedule completion times have decelerated, meaning projects are taking longer to complete.
Fullerton Building Systems stands out for its unwavering commitment to deliver consolidated building solutions 60 days sooner, with no change orders and no delays in schedules. Fullerton adds certainty to the cost of projects, specifically in times of inflation.
Road Ahead
Most recognized brands are just starting to become familiar with customized pre–fabricated construction, which is different from modular construction. So, Fullerton Building Systems envisions to capture significant market share in the coming years, as they continue to earn customer’s trust by delivering highest quality of service.
