In a recent interview with Dominique Mallet, CEO of EVERAXIS we delved deep into the company’s mission, values, approach to fostering innovation and vision for the future. Here are the interview excerpts.
What inspired the founding of EVERAXIS, and how has the company evolved since its inception?
EVERAXIS emerged as a nascent brand in 2022, following a carveout from the Cobham group. Throughout the past couple of years, we have reached significant milestones, including:
Engaging in Critical Programs: EVERAXIS has played a pivotal role in bolstering defense systems and advancing energy autonomy.
Organic Growth Amid Supply Chain Challenges: Despite the complexities of supply chains, EVERAXIS has achieved robust double-digit yearly organic growth.
Expansion into Asia: Our recent establishment of a greenfield facility in Bangalore underscores EVERAXIS’ unwavering commitment to serving strategic customers in the Wind power sector across India. This move marks a significant stride in our global expansion endeavors.
Can you give us insight into the core values and mission that drive EVERAXIS forward in the realm of innovation?

EVERAXIS engages into markets that are critical to our country’s sovereignty, including Aerospace and Defence, and clean and locally generated energy. More precisely, we focus on applications where the combined challenges of demanding (Mission Critical) environments, confidential or restricted information needed for design, long-lived operations, and “definitely cannot fail” support a co-engineered custom design.
Our primary product innovation mission is to make sure we provide our customer with the exact best design where highest performance ratio is achieved.
We also investigate into new technologies, considering the criticality of our customers’ applications, which are developed with a thorough characterization and qualification process. Greatness in innovation through constraints!
What are some of EVERAXIS’s flagship products, and what sets them apart from competitors in terms of innovation?
Good question. We only do products. We design them with our customer, we manufacture them, and we maintain them in operational condition.
We focus on Sliprings, Twist Capsules, Fiber Optic Rotary Joints, RF Rotary Joints. We design, integrate, and qualify all the above to provide a complete rotational solution to the program. All our solutions are custom to the customer requirements. However, we leverage decades of proven designs to keep development cost to a minimum and reduce risk to the program.
We bring to our customers and partners a unique combination of innovation, customer focus and flexibility backed by a very robust infrastructure: values, IT, security and safety.
Innovation isn’t just about products; it’s also about processes. How does EVERAXIS foster a culture of innovation within its teams and workflows?
We prioritize safety while fostering an environment that encourages exploration of new solutions. Through our Group Innovation Fund, we actively support disruptive projects aligned with our customers’ needs.
We believe that true innovation stems from openness and collaboration. Innovation is not solely our endeavour; it’s a collective vision shared with our peers and partners. We understand that innovation only truly matters when it resonates with our customers’ needs and aspirations. We embrace the mantra of “Succeed fast or fail fast” with the understanding that each outcome provides valuable insights for improvement. Sustainability is increasingly becoming intertwined with innovation. How does EVERAXIS integrate sustainability into its innovation processes and product development?
We do quite a bit in that domain. We have recently received a top-15% company rating from an external and independent assessment.
Our energy business in itself is a great example of what we contribute to. Our rotating solutions are critical in conveying power and signal needed to best operation of windmills. In cooperation with our customers in India, we built a common project leading to the opening of our facility in Bangalore, shortening and decarbonizing supply chains.
Repair and maintenance are the next pillar in sustainability: critical missions delivered by our products require constant availability and operations – so the ability to repair, maintain, extend life… is critical.
Looking ahead, what are EVERAXIS’ plans and aspirations for further innovation in its industry?
Our approach to innovation differs slightly. We prioritize delivering the highest-grade innovation tailored specifically to our customers’ applications. Whether it’s helicopter blade de-icing, radar systems, turrets, sensors, drones, space mechanisms, or wind turbines, our sole ambition is to provide our customers with the optimal solution, considering the unique dynamics of their platforms. By focusing solely on meeting our customers’ needs and exceeding their expectations, we ensure that our innovations have a tangible impact and drive success across various industries and sectors.
