NeoCloud CEO Van Murray was announced as one of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Leadership Award winners. This award is a great testament to Van’s involvement in the community and to the growing visibility he has generated in the Triangle and also nationally for NeoCloud’s managed cloud services.
Van’s dedication to giving back to the community is demonstrated not only in his personal life, but also at NeoCloud. In addition to leading Clean Jordan Lake as the organization’s president and sitting on the Board of Directors for North Carolina B.A.S.S. Nation, Van is also a member of the executive committee for Activate Good, an organization that works to activate volunteers to help charitable causes in the local community. Combining business leadership with his passion for philanthropy, Van created a new offering within NeoCloud that provides Activate Good Non-Profit members with cloud services bundles at no cost. The bundles became available in early April 2017 and we’re excited about the traction we’re seeing and the opportunity to help nonprofit organizations in our community transform and grow their businesses.
Van’s leadership and strategic direction is the driving force behind NeoCloud’s continued success. In 2016, the company provided cloud management services to more than 100,000 end users at more than 1,000 businesses and organizations across the country. In the Triangle alone, NeoCloud served more than 180 clients, including local businesses and nonprofits such as Band Together, Empire Eats, Moon & Lola, and Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. The team at NeoCloud doubled in headcount in 2016 and has higher growth targets for 2017.
Van is excited to continue growing NeoCloud into a leader in cloud innovation in the triangle as the company. We are excited to share this news and are looking forward to what’s on the horizon.
